What is the best cure ever for acne?and at what age does acne stop appearing?

Im 26 and i have battled acne since i was 15, The last few years ive found a few products that work amazingly well. First a good cleanser is Estee lauders sparkling clean purifying mud foam cleanser, it just sucks the dirt and oil out of your skin without overdrying. Second product that has realy helped is something your dermatoligist can prescribe called retnin a micro. If you dont want to see a skin doctor, theres a good over the counter skin serum called Kinetin age defiant intense serium, its 10% vitamin C and it has actually helped heal old acne scars and resurface my skin. I still have blackheads every now and then, but breakouts are totally under controll. Proactive works fairly well too...but i noticed if i forgot to use it my skin would break out all over again. And if you wear foundation, i think oil free revlon colorstay is still the best out there, and ive tried all the big department store brands like MAC and Lancome ... Anyway, Hope this helps! :)What is the best cure ever for acne?and at what age does acne stop appearing?
I am 55 and still need to use 10% Benzoyl Peroxide to prevent it. I still have a very oily skin even at my age. But,10% Benzoyl Peroxide has always been effective for me. For some reason I get better results with the tinted formula than the ';vanishing'; formula. What is the best cure ever for acne?and at what age does acne stop appearing?
Well: according to teens the Acney will remain until all pores cleand from dirt %26amp; germ build-ups! see that depends how old

Dermitologist only yes try http://www.facilscrub.com very good item ok ?
it's different ages for different people, but it usually stops earlier for men than women......

the product that finally worked for me is the wonderful benzoyl peroxide lotion they sell at acne.org.......it's not drying, I leave it on my skin 24 hours a day, reduced my acne probably about 90%......other products like proactiv did nothing for me......
The best over-the-counter acne medication is skinbymeridian.com This is a high concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide with High concentrations of Tea Tree Oil; which works as an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. This combination counteracts the contributing factors to acne: bacteria in the hair follicle, increased oil production, and clogging of the pores.

Acne has a large hormonal drive, thus, it lasts a differing amount of time for different people. The peak age for women is actually 24 (later than one would think!).

ask a dermatologist but acne never stops or goes away it is with you for the rest of your natural born life. Stress brings it out onto your skin and eating a unhealthy diet will induce it.
I have been suffering from acne for about 15 years. And quite often it doesn't just stop appearing...you have to find the correct cause and treat it. For me it was a combination of hormonal and other factors...I just found that out about a year ago and had to start taking Diane35 to control the excess androgens in my system and that helped with the cysts. If you are female have your doctor test your androgen levels. Also I found benzoyl peroxide preparations at 5% help tremendously for the other minor acne lesions - try proactive, it really works if used properly. Or another treatment that works really well is tretinoin .1%. (prescription only) Really quite cheap and the only side effects are redness and peeling for the first couple of weeks, once you get past that you're sailing.

Beware that you shouldn't mix tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide.

Good luck
Proactive. I didn't believe the ads at first, but I've seen it work miracles on people I know, and it doesn't only get rid of acne but helps even out skin tone as well.

As far as age goes, I used to have bad breakouts starting when I was around 12, but they began to clear up when I was around 15, and stopped completely at 19 or 20. Most people sometimes get a few zits no matter what age, though.
