no, doesn't work. acupuncture stimulates certain neurons in the brain which causes a release of endorphin, a chemical released by the brain that is like morphine. It just gives you a slight high or happy feeling.Has anyone had acupunture to cure acne?
i havn't lol.... i think some acne is caused by stress, and acupuncture (no idea how to spell that) helps relieve stress so it might work, but probobly not, i would'nt rely on that, you should use some sort of face cleanser and wash daily.

No but I have used it for TMJ jaw pain, neck and shoulder pain and it was totally awesome. I was pain free for about four months after being in pain for 10 years and trying everything. I plan on doing it every six months or once a year.


In your case though I don't see why you don't just get some medication either prescription or something like proactive. Also an asprin honey mask is awesome. Just get five or six plain white asprin put about three drops of water on each one and let it dissolve. Add some honey and make a paste. Apply to your face and let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes and rinse.


But you never know, accupuncture might help. I didn't believe it till I tried it. Those who say it's psychological probably have never tried it.
