Does a good diet cure acne?

Hi I know you probabley get hundreds of questions on this topic but I was just wondering if it was true that if you cut out junk food and ate plenty of fruit and vegetables and drank plenty of water that your acne would improve. Thanks

Before, I started with an efficient eating habit I was having trouble with my face. I was see pimples, skin discolorations, and dry spots. This a problem I never had before, therefore; I stopped drinking soda and started eating healthier foods. Now my skin is back with it's nature glow. So a healthy diets does have a lot to do with skin.Does a good diet cure acne?

I think it can help moderately if you stick to it and the total body benefits will be worth it too! Try a healthy diet in conjunction with a benzoly peroxide topical treatment. Wash only twice a day and after excessive sweating/exercise (so as not dry the skin by over washing). For me, i did not have clear skin until i was in my 20's and saw my doctor for a prescription, however, when i watch my diet and have a good topical regamin, i notice an marked improvement! Nope, acne is a follicle disorder, and oil and bacteria aggravate it because they get plugged up in the follicles. It will make you feel better in other ways, but not the acne. Try mild soap and water first, then experiment with benzoyl peroxide products like Oxy or Clearisil and if those don't work, see a dermatologist for other options.
It does work, a little. I basically cut out fruit drinks and greasy foods for most of the time, and my face began to clear up.
