Can I use iodized salt as a acne cure?

I read somewhere iodized salt can cure your acne if you wet your face then put salt and wait then rinse is this true please tell me!?Can I use iodized salt as a acne cure?
I'm not sure if that can work for some people but I've known at least a few who are allergic to iodine and had dreadful acne until they quit eating iodized salt and high iodine containing foods.





If you don't have any reason to suspect you're allergic to iodine, it may be worth a try by using the salt on half your face and not the other. That's about as close to a ';controlled experiment'; you'll be able to get as one person.
