What are some ways to cure or get rid of acne?

i did not used to have a lot of acne but it started breaking out just recently and i do not know how to keep it to a minimum.What are some ways to cure or get rid of acne?
My daughter had good results with Pro-Activ. But it is about $30 a month.





You don't say how old you are, but people tend to get more acne, if they are prone to it when hormone levels rise (puberty).





Like another poster, I advocate clean pillowcases, every day if you are a night time drooler (not a slam, just a reality of life for some of us)





Also, wash your hands frequently and keep them off your face. Don't pick. If you have a habit like leaning on your elbow with your face cradled in your hand, try to break that too - the oil and dirt on your hand will migrate to your jawline and cheek.What are some ways to cure or get rid of acne?
Use a gentle, clarifying face soap like the Neutragena Glycerin Bar. Change your pillowcases at least once a week.


Exfoliate with a face scrub or loofah every other day.
Don't quote me on this but taking Zinc vitamin pills ive heard to clear up acne pretty well, like multivitamins and the like.
