What is the best natural, homemade cure for acne and to get clear skin?

go to teavana. it's a tea shop. there's a book there with a bunch of facial creme recipes in it. you should buy it. here are a couple recipes:

-smashed avocado. rub it into your face using the pit.

-honey and vegetable oil. sounds gross, but it cleans out your pores and makes your face feel baby smooth.

I can't remember any more off the top of my head. Hope I helped!!What is the best natural, homemade cure for acne and to get clear skin?
About once a week use a facial scrub, and cleanse your face with noxema(facial cleanser), you can feel it working!! you can find noxema at a drugstore or groccerystore. its normally a blue bottle, in a rectangle shape.

Good luck!

ps...talk to ur doctor about ur acneWhat is the best natural, homemade cure for acne and to get clear skin?
A good face-wash.
When I get a nasty spot I first wash with an exfoliator- made with natural stuffs then another natural gentle face wash. The exfoliator will make it look bigger cause its irritated, but no worries. Then I soak a bit of cloth in almost scolding hot water and compress it on the spot for a good minute 5 or 6 times. Finally I compress it (same deal) with a natural vinegar fluid off the internet called ';zero zits'; which is the best stuff ever created, it works and feels sooo good on your face and is 100% herbs- google it. For nasty ones I use the Emergency Power but tea tree oil works well too. For acne in general- you must wash but not dry out- exfoliate dead skin and apply an astringent.

If you go to an internet herbal store they have everything 100% natural.
for glowing skin use half a tea spoon of honey in 2 tbs yogurt (use a light one if u have ioly skin), and put on ur face for half an hour

egg white with a tea spoon of lemon is also good
I've heard oatmeal works extremely well, you can find good oatmeal and yogurt mixes on Google. I didn't have enough patience and was like, ';Eww...'; When I put it on, (really messy) but it could work.

But this is my method!!! Use hot water to open up your pores, and scrub your face well with a cloth, sponge, or bath net, but not too hard or long, because you'll just irritate your skin with the roughness of the cloth and scrape off skin. After doing that, turn the water on cold to close up your pores and not make your skin sweat from the hot water.

I normally do this in the shower, it wakes you up with the cold water and you don't feel icky because you're so steamed up and sweating from a hot shower.

Also, keep your hair out of your face to prevent those oils from irritating your skin...

And don't touch your face with your hands alot, except if you just gave them a good wash. Ever heard the saying ';They've got sweaty hands?'; Well, oily or sweaty, your palms have 'stuff' on them that can clog your pores and cause pimples!

Well good luck with that acne, and hope this helped you out!
My favorite green living website has the best all natural acne cures. They have recipes you do at home. Cheap, easy and work better then that stuff you buy at the store.

Peace

I usually just use biore exfoliating scrub. But if you want something that is au natural, try getting a thick cream (heavy cream will do), and mix it up with rice...scrub and your good to go!
This is what do.

Aloe vera gel mixed with 2 drops of tea tree essential oil works really well and has been shown in studies to improve acne. Doing scrubs is not good for acne at all because it irritates acne so I use warm oatmeal with a little bit of honey to exfoliate which is more gently. A french ';green'; clay mask works very well also. It removes impurities from deep within and your acne may get worse before it gets better using the french clay. You should try an organic cleanser. (You can get them at a health food store.) I use a herbal astringent recipe from ';The herbal body book'; by Stephanie Tourles which you can get cheap on half.com. Works really good and is so soothing. (Any of Stephanie Tourles books are really great for home recipes. I love the new ORGANIC BODY CARE RECIPES June 2007.) Use a oil free moisturizer or emu oil at night on your face, neck and chest. (Emu oil doesn't clog pores and won't cause more acne. Promise!! I use it) Try taking vitamins A, E, D, C, B5 vitamin %26amp; Zinc. Also eat healthy lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables. Boxed foods and fast food will make it so much worse!

If you are on a tight budget try this.

Cleanser: baking soda or sea salt.

Toner: Green tea or aloe vera gel.

Moisturizer: 1/2 cup water 3 tsp. vegetable glycerin and 5 drops lemon essential oil or oil free moisturizer.

Mask: (use 2 or 3x a week unless you have dry skin.) French ';green'; clay removes impurities tightens and tones skin. (You can use overnight as a spot treatment also.) Leave on for 10-20 min or until dry then rinse and moisturize.

Exfoliant: (use 2 or 3x a week unless you have dry skin.) Warm oatmeal mixed with a little honey. and left on for 5 minutes then rinse and moisturize.

Blackheads: Baking soda mixed with water into a paste and then left of the face till dry then gently rub black heads with paste then rinse and moisturize.

Daily as a morning toner/moisturizer you can use aloe vera gel mixed with 2 or 3 drops of tea tree essential oil if you'd like. Works really well.

Also take vitamins A, E, D, C, B5 vitamin %26amp; Zinc. Also eat healthy lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables. Boxed foods and fast food will make it so much worse!

Hope this helps!!
