I'm sure they'll stumble across something while trying to cure cancer.
Get over it, there are far worse afflictions to have than spotty skin.
yes you're right! actually there's a skicare which has had fantastic results for treating acne; it's called the Sher System.


But I don't think it's that cheap. But they should have at least found ways to cope with it naturally, for example it's a fact that hormones have sth to do with it, so they should have come up with things to balance that. Also doctors don't know that acne sufferers are not able to digest saturated fats (eg dairy %26amp; red meat), this would eliminate some it.
Why find a cure when the drug companies can make a fortune providing over the counter meds.
I wish they would, it causes such distress for those who suffer from it.


There are drugs to improve but nothing yet to cure it.

They do have one; it's called getting older.
The cure is to balance out hormone levels, its the only reason for it and the only cure. Herbal suppliments like agnus castus and saw palmetto are natural hormone balancers and a healthy diet including vit c, zinc, and iron does help. Not over scrubbing the skin as it just makes it produce more oil, and moisturising, with a light non-clogging cream. Many people think that oily skin means their skin isnt dry, but it is dry thats why its over producing oil. Also, exercise helps to get rid of stress, which causes adrenal glands to work overtime and overproduce corsitone and testosterone, which causes spots.
I'm sure they have, but then how would companies make millions off face-care products? It sort of relates to the cure for the cold the government has, I'm sure we all could have it, but then who would buy that robitussin/dayquil crap? There is one product (prescription only) Accutane, that is proven to clear up acne dramatically in severe cases of cystic acne. It as a teratogen drug (can cause birth defects) so it is very strictly used and monitered by your doctor during the therapy.
Whatever you do, DON'T take Accutane!! A friend did and it really, really messed her up!!!
